Protect your valuables!
Dry storage despite all the rain! Long Lake Storage’s Port Orchard facility is constructed to provide maximum protection against destructive moisture.
Dry storage. With an average of 52 inches of rainfall a year in Port Orchard, owner Todd Jensen wanted to ensure that units were high off the ground and dry. Curtain drains are installed throughout the site to handle water run off. Concrete floors are elevated above the ground. They are formulated with a special concrete / plastic mix which serves as an excellent moisture barrier.
Heated Storage Units.
Heated Dry Storage Units provide extra protection for particularly moisture sensitive valuables and they cost an average of only $10 more a month.
We have heated units for ultimate climate control and protection of particularly sensitive items. All of the units at Long Lake Storage are built to provide dry storage. But some of them have the additional benefit of radiant floor heat. Heated floors drive away potential indoor condensation. This is ideal for items like fine art, leather, pianos and other musical instruments.
